My Story: Building Generational Wealth, Empowering Families, and Advocating for the Vulnerable
Growing up, I experienced the challenges of financial insecurity firsthand. As a woman of faith, I made a promise to myself that I would never live in financial lack again. I trusted God’s promise for financial prosperity, committed to tithing, and got to work—knowing that faith without works is dead. Through God’s grace and favor, I’ve been able to change the financial trajectory of my life, and now, my passion is helping others do the same.
My Why: Faith, Advocacy, and Empowerment
At the core of my work is a desire to use my skills to positively impact others. I’ve always had a natural inclination to advocate for those who need support, and sharing my knowledge of trust and estate planning is how I fulfill this purpose. I believe that everyone should feel empowered and equipped to protect their family’s future, whether through building generational wealth, creating sound estate plans, or caring for a loved one with special needs.
My ultimate goal is for my clients to feel secure, confident, and at peace with their decisions. I want them to feel that I’ve been more than a financial advisor—I want them to feel that I’ve been a mentor, coach, and trusted partner in their journey toward financial stability and legacy building.
The Importance of Generational Wealth
One pivotal moment that solidified my dedication to generational wealth happened when my mom, a single parent who had sacrificed so much, was in her 50s and ready to buy her first home. It became clear that my mom had little saved for her retirement. I realized then that my sister and I would eventually be financially responsible for her. This experience shaped my commitment to inspiring others to plan appropriately.
Through the years, I’ve witnessed the stark contrast between those who start with something and those who start from nothing. My mission is to help families build and protect their financial legacies, ensuring future generations are set up for success.
Expertise in Estate and Trust Administration
In addition to my personal experiences, I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which has provided me with advanced skills in financial analysis, business management, and strategic planning. This academic foundation, combined with my years of experience managing a professional fiduciary, enables me to manage complex financial and estate matters with confidence and integrity.
I’ve spent years managing fiduciary responsibilities for individuals and families, specializing in trust and estate administration, financial oversight, and public benefits. This professional background gives me a deep understanding of the legal and financial complexities that come with estate planning and long-term care for vulnerable populations. My work has always centered on making sound, ethical decisions that prioritize the well-being of those I serve.
Advocating for the Special Needs Community
While I don’t have a direct family connection to the special needs community, my heart for advocacy led me to this space. After hearing stories from parents about the challenges of raising children with special needs—and witnessing their fear and uncertainty about their child’s future—I knew I had to get involved. I’ve always stood up for those who cannot stand up for themselves, and this community deserves that kind of support.
I see my role as both a guide and an advocate for families. I help parents and caregivers plan for the future, ensuring their loved ones with special needs are cared for long after they’re gone. In my work, I’ve seen the consequences of inadequate planning—adults with special needs being forgotten, caregivers burning out without a plan, and families running out of financial resources. This lack of preparation has fueled my commitment to providing specialized, compassionate support to this community.
My belief in real estate as a key to building wealth was cemented when my first home doubled in value. At that moment, I truly understood the power of real estate and the role it plays in creating financial security. I learned how to access and leverage equity, opening doors to more investment opportunities and future growth.
With my experience in real estate and finance, I help others navigate this path—whether they’re first-time homebuyers or seasoned investors—guiding them through the complexities of the market and helping them build equity for long-term wealth.
Because I get it. I know how overwhelming it can feel to juggle work, family, and planning for the future. You deserve someone who understands what you’re going through and can guide you with practical advice that works in real life—not just on paper. My goal is to help you feel secure, knowing that your family’s future is in good hands.
